EASTER FUN

We didn't have much time this year between our St. Patrick's Day celebration and Spring Break, so we had to get ready for Easter in quick fashion. Though the time was short, the children had a fun time with Easter crafts and our egg hunt!

The children thought it was great wearing bunny ears for the hunt.

After the hunt, we "POPPED" into spring by enjoying a snack of popcorn and Popsicles!

 HAPPY SPRING AND HAPPY EASTER!!!!!

DR. SEUSS DAY!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!!!
We celebrated with a special snack of Cat in the Hat cheese sticks and fish thanks to one of our wonderful moms. Thanks! We also made a Seussical project!

SCIENCE LAB #2 - SOLIDS AND LIQUIDS

Science Lab has already become a fun activity that the children look forward to. Being science, it is a hands on activity, but it is so much more than that. It teaches the children to sit and listen so they will know what to do when the time comes for them to participate. They have learned the difference between a tool and a toy. Science uses tools, not toys. Children love learning new things.

In this science lab, the children learned the difference between a solid and a liquid. They saw that water is special because it can be both a liquid and a solid. The children especially loved when we made a non-Newtonian fluid which has the properties of both a solid and a liquid simultaneously.
The fact that it was squishy and messy made it even more fun!

LEPRECHAUNS AND RAINBOWS

It's March and St. Patrick's Day is quickly approaching. We've been spending our days learning about leprechauns, shamrocks and rainbows. We are all looking forward to WIPP's annual St. Patrick's Day parade where fun will surely be had by all who attend. We are even practicing our parade wave!
