VOLCANO ERUPTIONS, DINO DIGS AND DAPHNE

Who doesn't love an exploding volcano? We all LOVED it!!!

As our Dinosaur Unit came to a close, we had our own dinosaur dig in our sand table. We carefully dug dinosaur bones from the sand.

We also said goodbye to our classroom dinosaur, Daphne.

Dinosaur Tracks, Mud, Music and Cupcakes

We've spent our first whole week together as a full class, teacher included! Hooray!
We've learned classroom routines, rules and what behaviors are appropriate. We are learning about one another and how to play together.
We've also hit the ground running working on our fine motor skills.
We've been discussing dinosaurs and here we are making some dinosaur tracks.

We all worked together to whip up some sticky mud.

We used it to make our Mud Masterpieces!
Miss Kathleen came in to the classroom on Friday for our first music time. We heard a story about Noah and the Ark and learned a few new songs.

To end the week with a bang, we practiced frosting cupcakes and adding dinosaur sprinkles.
Of course, then we ate them for snack and learned how to peel the liners off by ourselves. For a four day week, we sure did a lot!
