MAGNETISM

This past week we seemed to be riding the weather rollercoaster and found ourselves stuck inside much of the time. We used this opportunity to work on architecture or perfect our cutting skills. Our newest student has been using this time to learn how U.S. children play, like how to play dress-up!
In science lab #5, we learned about magnetism. We used magnets to see what types of objects they would attract. We saw that magnets have power, or a magnetic force. We also learned that all magnets have two poles, a north and a south, and that if you try to put two like poles together, they will repel one another.
Finally, we used magnets and tested their force on different objects in the classroom. We even used magnets to paint our March placemats.
