In our Science Experiment #6, The Power of Wind, we learned that wind is actually just moving air. Sometimes it is gentle and sometimes it has great power. Here are some pictures of us using the power of wind in our classroom. First we held races where we created our own wind and blew feathers from on end of the room to the other. The children loved this activity and were truly out of breath by the time it was over!
Then we blew through straws to create a "wind powered painting." These paintings are decorating our classroom door and look great.
